The Indian team, led by Virat Kohli, will begin their Cricket World Cup campaign on Wednesday when they come up against South Africa at Rose Bowl in Southampton.
India are ranked No 2 in the ICC ODI rankings and among the form sides in the world at the moment - regardless of format. Kohli himself is the world's best batsman and, along with vice-captain Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan, forms one of the most formidable top-orders in ODIs.
But it is their bowling attack that is expected to shine in England and Wales given their bowling styles suit the conditions while there is enough variety to keep batsmen on their toes.
Needless to say, though, each player will have a different role and personal goal, aside from winning the cup, of course. Also, there is no guarantee every one of those 15 players will get a game - unless a situation arises where members of the first XI do not perform or the team lose a few games along the way.
