Lebanese army detains militant at Palestinian refugee camp camp-sources
Militant was planning bomb attacks.
BEIRUT // A Palestinian extremist who was wanted for planning bomb attacks in Lebanon was detained on Saturday at a Palestinian refugee camp.
Sources within the Islamist factions in Ain Al Hilweh in southern Lebanon handed Khaled al-Sayyid over to the Lebanese army at dawn at a check point outside the camp, on the outskirts of the city of Sidon. Sayyid had previously travelled to Syria to fight with militant groups in the civil war there, security sources said.
