Cloudy and hazy skies are expected across the country on Wednesday, with winds gaining strength over the sea and exposed areas.
A chance of light rain is forecast over northern and eastern regions, the National Centre for Meteorology reported.
Light to heavy rain was reported last night over the Abu Dhabi – Al Ain Road, Al Hayer in Al Ain, Al Khader- Maliha road in Kalba and Al Qor - with more expected today.

Fresh to strong north-westerly winds will continue over the Arabian Gulf until 6pm, with warnings of hazardous weather conditions and rough to very rough seas.

Waves could reach 8 to10 feet offshore in the Arabian Gulf, and 4 to 6 feet offshore in Oman Sea.

The temperature will continue to drop, reaching between 22°C to 33°C in Abu Dhabi and 23°C to 31°C in Dubai.
Humidity is expected to increase - reaching 85 per cent at night - in parts of the country which may cause fog in the early mornings.
