Rain is expected in the Northern Emirates and Al Ain and seafarers have been urged to take caution.

Waves will reach up to 2.7 metres in the Gulf and 2m in the Sea of Oman before 1pm today.

Skies will be overcast across the country, with a possibility of rainfall in Al Ain, Al Dhaid, Al Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah.

Northwesterly winds will reach up to 45kph and whip up sand and reduce visibility. Motorists are advised to drive with care and allow extra time.

Temperatures will be between 18°C to 31°C on the coast and 17°C to 34°C in the interior. In the mountains, the barometer could drop as low as 13°C.

Visibility will be reduced to less than 1,000 metres in eastern interior areas before 8.30am on Sunday.

Tomorrow’s weather is expected to be partly cloudy.
