Forecasters warned that fresh winds will stir dust, resulting in poor conditions in many areas of the country.

The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology said the weather would be fair and dusty, with temperatures reaching up to 46C in some parts.

Moderate winds may kick up and expected to reach speed as high as 45kph along internal areas and 48kph over the coast.

The westerly to north-westerly winds will cause blowing dust over exposed areas.

Temperatures will range from 28C to 46C inland, 27C to 42C along the coast and 26C to 39C in the mountains. Humidity levels could reach a high 80 per cent in the interior and 55 per cent in the mountains, according to the centre.

Sea will be rough during the day in the Arabian Gulf, becoming moderate by night, whereas waters in the Sea of Oman will be moderate, becoming rough at times.

Hazy and dusty conditions are set to continue over the next two days.
