Heavy traffic was reported in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah on Wednesday.
Traffic was stalled in Dubai on Emirates Road near Khawaneej, the Oud Metha and Ras Al Khor exits. There's also congestion in Deria after the Nad Al Hammar road intersection, International City and Green Community.
Tailbacks were reported in the capital, with congestion along Sheikh Zayed Street after the Yas interchange, at the Al Saada Street bridge and the Reem Island exit.
There's also traffic on Sultan bin Zayed Street near Dhafeer Street.
In Sharjah commuters slowed down near the National Paints Factory area, on the Maliha Kalba road, Industrial Area 15 and Amman Street.
