Three men who kidnapped and robbed a labourer after posing as policemen have each been jailed for three years.
MB, 38, ME, 34, and GY, 22, all from Pakistan, drove up alongside the labourer as he walked in Al Quoz in December last year.
Two of them got out and told the victim, the Bangladeshi FK, 31, they were policemen before forcing him into the back seat, where they assaulted him.
They drove him to a remote area and stole Dh2,000 and two mobile phones.
All three, who pleaded not guilty at Dubai Criminal Court, will be deported after their jail terms.
