A snake was caught and killed by Ras Al Khaimah Civil Defence teams after being discovered at a home in the emirate.

A resident in the Julphar area raised the alarm on Saturday after spotting the serpent in the house. A specialist team and paramedics were dispatched to the scene.

RAK Civil Defence said they managed to control and kill the snake to prevent any potential harm to the public.

They also advised the public, especially those living near the mountains and desert areas, to be vigilant and report similar incidents immediately.
