Unity and love between leaders and the people is a blessing, so do not ruin it, worshippers will be told today.
There are several mentions in the Quran and Prophet Mohammed's hadiths of the importance of unity and harmony among Muslims, and warnings against separation and disobedience.
"Islam calls for unity because it is the basis for happiness and progress," says the sermon. "Hardly can any nation achieve progress or enjoy welfare unless its people come together."
The UAE's leaders have made that possible as they are keen on establishing development that best serves the interests of the people and the state, it says.
"The best of your rulers are those whom you love and who love you, who invoke God's blessings upon you and you invoke His blessings upon them," says another hadith.
The sermon reminds worshippers of the positive outcomes of the Union.
"You may also need to look at the situation of other societies, which are stricken by calamities and poverty or endure instability, and then compare it with what we enjoy of abundant blessings, happiness and contentment," it concludes.
