Patients in need will be given free medical treatment at Zulekha hospitals in Dubai, Sharjah and India following an agreement with Dar Al Ber society.

Zulekha health group will offer discounts between 10 to 25 per cent from the total costs of treatment for patients referred to them by Dar Al Ber.

Discounts granted by the hospital are decided on a case-by-case basis for patients across the country suffering from diseases such as kidney failure. The society will cover the remaining amount after the discount is applied.

“We serve the charitable and humanitarian work in the country and the world and aim to strengthen the concept of social responsibility and work in line with the country’s policy and the directions of the leadership to provide help to the needy,” said Abdullah Al Falasi, executive director of Dar Al Ber.

According to the agreement, patients will receive full treatment at the group’s hospitals in Sharjah, Dubai and its Alexis Multispecialty Hospital in Nagpur, India.

“We shall provide medical services for destitute and low-income patients from across the country who are suffering from different diseases, mainly kidney failure,” said Dr Zulekha Dawood, owner of Zulekha Healthcare Group.

She said that they are keen on cooperating with all charities in the country to help vulnerable patients and ease their suffering during the Year of Giving.
