Lambretta is back on track

ITALY // Lambretta, the famed Italian scooter manufacturer, will return to motorcycle racing after more than 57 years. According to Autosport.com, the Lambretta Reparto Corse motorsport team will field two new motorcycles in the 125cc world championship this year. Italian Marco Ravaioli and Spaniard Luis Salom are signed as riders. "We're delighted to be back on the racetrack and to compete in such an exciting sport. It'll be fun to compete with the big boys and see what happens," Lambretta marketing director John Scully told the website.
