The cacophony of sellers and buyers drifts out of the low lying building in Abu Dhabi’s Mina port. The sounds swirl with the smell of fish and cooking. The Mina Fish Market is an assault on the senses in the best possible way.

Walking through the doors visitors are immediately met with smells and sounds. While it’s not all pleasant, there is no mistaking where you are. The market is one large room filled with dozens of stalls and countless amounts of fish and seafood.

Experience the market with our 360 degree tour - and select the sound icons to hear the daily chatter of the stall holders and fish gutters:

The fish market is one of the oldest in the country as well as one of the largest. And while it’s huge, it still has a small town, back to the basics vibe.

Sellers hawk their products in English, Arabic and a host of other languages found throughout the region.

While visitors should brace themselves, it’s by no means an aggressive experience.

While there is a seemingly endless array of fish and seafood, the options depend on the time of year and what’s available locally.

Once you pick your fish you can get it cleaned on site and then choose from several different restaurants who will cook it right in front of you.

It’s a full service experience and a must for anybody who lives or is visiting Abu Dhabi.
