Emirates Post has issued a commemorative stamp to celebrate the UAE Nation Brand.

The design embodies the seven lines that make up the map of the Emirates and includes the brand slogan “impossible is possible”.

“The UAE celebrates its golden jubilee in 2021, marking the 50th anniversary of the Union and five decades of achievements that we are all proud of,” said Abdulla Mohammed Alashram, group chief executive of Emirates Post Group.

“From a story rooted in the desert, we are proud to issue commemorative stamps to present our inspiring story to the world.”

Emirates Post issued 175,000 commemorative stamps. They can be bought on the Emirates Post Web Shop – emiratespostshop.ae – or from its central customer happiness centres across the country.

Designed by 49 Emiratis, the logo, named 7 Lines, was chosen from three designs by popular vote in January 2020. More than 10 million people from around the world took part.

The seven lines of the new logo are said to represent the leaders of the seven emirates who agreed to unite under one flag.

Seven lines, shaping the map of the Emirates using the national colours, represent the unity of the future-focused leaders.

The Nation Brand will represent the country’s journey for the next 50 years. It will also serve a similar purpose to the national tourism and marketing slogans such as Malaysia Truly Asia, Britain’s GREAT campaign and Incredible India.
