What is it?: Come along at 7.30pm and cheer 12 survivors of breast cancer - eight of whom will be making their catwalk debut - as they model designer clothes.

Event: Pink Biathlon

Location: Jumeirah Beach Hotel Pavilion

What is it?: It's the start of the UAE's running season, so what better time to get your trainers - and swimsuit - on than for this charitable occasion. The race will be composed of a 1600km run, 500m ocean swim, and another 1600km run. You can compete on your own or in teams of two or three. For those who have not signed up already, your time has unfortunately passed, but you will be able to stand by the sidelines and support those taking on the challenge.
