Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed visited the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference on Wednesday.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces was accompanied by Dr Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State and chief executive of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company Group; Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary of the Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi, and was briefed about some of the projects on show by the participating companies.

Sheikh Mohammed said that, by hosting Adipec, the country was strengthening its position as a leading destination for global dialogue on the future of energy, oil and gas.

He said the UAE would continue to invest its oil and gas resources in the best interests of the country and that was part of economic diversification efforts to secure a prosperous future for the next generation, according to state news agency Wam.

Sheikh Mohamed then toured the various pavilions and heard about different projects.

Adipec, held at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, ends on Thursday.
