The UAE stands by the United Nation’s efforts to resolve the Syrian crisis, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, the Foreign Minister, told the agency’s secretary general, Ban Ki-Moon.
They spoke of current developments in Syria and Egypt, the Israeli-Palestinian peace negotiations and the Iranian file, Wam, the state news agency, reported.
Mr Ban shared the UN’s views on developments in Egypt and Syria, including the issue of the Syrian chemical programme, with Sheikh Abdullah.
