Forecasters predict rising temperatures over the next week, with partly cloudy conditions.
The National Centre of Meteorology forecasts weather to be cloudy, with rising temperatures in general over the next five days, reaching highs of 40°C next week.
On Thursday, weather is expected to be fair and partly cloudy, with temperatures in Abu Dhabi reaching 38°C at midday.
Winds will be light to moderate, reaching speeds of 39kph at times.
Temperatures reached a high of 41°C in Mezaira, Liwa Oasis at 2.30 pm yesterday. A national low of 10°C was recorded in Raknah, north of Al Ain at 5.30am.
