DUBAI // A female driver accused of making a rude gesture to a fellow motorist has been cleared by a Dubai court.
EO, 45, from Russia, denied raising her middle finger at AA, from Turkey, during an argument in the car park of Emirates Mall on March 28 this year.
She had stopped her car and was temporarily blocking traffic while she took photos of a classic vehicle parked nearby.
The man claimed that when he honked his horn she swore at him, but she claimed that she had merely raised her hand in a gesture of apology.
She claimed that he tried to intimidate her and that it was he who raised his middle finger at her.
The Misdemeanours Court cleared her of committing an indecent act in public.
