A girl has died after falling from the sixth floor of a building in Ajman on Thursday, the Arabic-language newspaper Emarat Al Youm has reported.
The girl, 3, died in Ajman’s Sheikh Khalifa Hospital after falling from the balcony of her home near Sheikh Khalifa Street.
Neighbours said they saw the girl standing on a chair and waving before she fell.
Police, Civil Defence and the ambulance service immediately moved to the scene.
The child was buried on Friday evening, it was reported.
Ajman Police are investigating.
In December, a 7-year-old girl died after falling from the fifth floor of a building in Al Musalla, Sharjah. A few weeks earlier, a 15-year-old girl died after falling from the 18th floor of a building in Al Taawun, Sharjah.
