DUBAI // A camel shepherd who stole bedsheets, kitchen utensils and curtains from a farm has been jailed for six months.

Pakistani S A, 27, and two friends broke into a farm in Al Marmoum on April 25 and took various items, including cooking pots, plates, glasses and a gas cylinder.

A gold set worth Dh7,000 was also taken.

The farm’s owner, Emirati M A, 60, reported the burglary after returning home to find his door had been broken down.

The Criminal Court found the Pakistani guilty of burglary.

He will be deported after serving his sentence.
