The Abu Dhabi Education Council is to participate in the 2013 Teaching and Learning International Survey for the first time.
The study offers teachers and school principals from more than 30 countries the chance to share their views on education.
The initiative aims to increase information available to participating countries on the effect teachers can have on student learning.
The survey will investigate areas related to professional development, teaching practices and other school leadership and management issues.
