Prediger, 27, joins the Abu Dhabi club on a six-month loan and will make his first appearance against Al Dhafra in the Arabian Gulf League at the Hamdan bin Zayed stadium on Friday. He signed with FC Porto in 2009 and has been playing at Club Atletico Colon in Argentina on loan.
UAE through to knock-out stage of U22 AFC Cup
The UAE booked their passage in the quarter-finals of the Asian Football Confederation U22 Cup after playing out a scoreless draw against North Korea in their final Group B match at the Seeb Sports stadium in Oman on Wednesday night.
The result gave the UAE five points from three games, second to Syria, who were on six points after their 1-0 win over Yemen.
