Sunday's meeting at the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club was postponed after the racetrack was found unsafe for racing.
“We had to call of the meeting as it was found unsafe for racing with spots of soft areas on certain parts of the track,” said Pat Buckley, racing manager at the track.
“We may include three races each in our next two meetings [March 10 and 15] to make it nine-race cards. This decision, however, is yet to be confirmed.”
Six races were scheduled for Sunday, with the highlight the Group 2 Liwa Oasis.
