Social media personality Paige Spiranac will return to Dubai to host coverage of the inaugural 2019 Omega Dubai Moonlight Classic, organisers announced on Thursday.

Taking place May 1-3 at Emirates Golf Club, the Ladies European Tour event will welcome 56 players in the first professional day-night tournament.

Spiranac, who was the official starter at the European Tour's Omega Dubai Desert Classic last year, is set to present live coverage across the Dubai Moonlight Classic's social media channels.

“I’m proud to be a part of this new and exciting tournament format," Spiranac said in a statement. "Dubai has always been a special place for me and I can’t wait to return for the Omega Dubai Moonlight Classic.

"It’s going to be awesome to see the tournament played in May under the lights and I’m sure it will be another fantastic showcase of the incredible golfing destination Dubai has become. There really is no better location for a day-night golf tournament than Dubai!”

David Spencer, Tournament Director, added: “We are thrilled that Paige will be joining us once again to host coverage of the inaugural Omega Dubai Moonlight Classic.

"We look forward to Paige giving golf fans around the world a unique insight into all the action at this year’s new day-night tournament and helping us continue to show how Dubai is the perfect golf destination to come to visit and play.”
