Parisian fashion labels such as Maje, Sandro and Claudie Pierlot (all owned by the SMCP Group) have made a habit of designing exclusive capsule collections for the Middle East market during peak Eid shopping seasons. For Eid Al-Fitr earlier this summer, Sandro launched a limited-edition emerald green bag to commemorate the occasion, and for the upcoming Eid Al-Adha holiday, Maje will be introducing a range of embellished skirts and dresses.
The limited-edition capsule is defined by feminine cuts and bold design elements. Dresses come in sleeveless and long-sleeved styles, crafted from sheer, black nets, brought to life with spectacular sequinned floral motifs. The rose-gold adornments also appear on two skirts: a mini, which may not work for traditional Eid gatherings but will suit other party occasions, and a gathered midi-skirt that is lined with a more fitted, black skirt, highlighting the beauty of the net and sequins. While they may have been produced with a specific occasion in mind, the designs are versatile, and can be worn year-round.
The skirts and dresses will land at Maje stores in the UAE and Saudi Arabia on August 17. They're available in limited quantities, so if you're planning on kick-starting your Eid weekend at the shopping malls, make sure Maje is one of the first stores that you visit.
