Dh1 entry to Laguna Waterpark throughout May
Kids go for Dh1 as Dubai waterpark celebrates its first birthday
For the month of May, Dubai's Laguna Waterpark at La Mer is offering Dh1 entry for children as it celebrates its first anniversary.
Tickets are usually priced at Dh99 for both children and adults, who are UAE citizens or residents. This May, however, children under 12 will only be charged Dh1 entry. Tickets are available to buy on the door or online (note: regular priced tickets at the door cost Dh125).
The tickets are valid for use all day with unlimited re-entry, which means you'll be able to head out and explore the shops and restaurants at La Mer, then revisit should you want to see more of the park later in the day.
Entry includes access to all of the rides, play areas and the beach at La Mer. Rides go from high thrill experiences, like the Constrictor, Free Fall and Mad Racer, to the more relaxed Lazy River and The Loop. For little ones there is an Aqua Play and Splash Pad, with no minimum height restrictions.
For the more ambitious, there is the WaveOz180 Flow Rider surf simulator, one of only three in the world, it offers "one of the world's largest and most exciting boarding experiences", and can accommodate up to four surfers at a time.
Cabanas and private areas overlooking the sea are also available for hire for an extra cost throughout the day.
Guests can park at La Mer and a valid Laguna Waterpark ticket includes four hours of free parking. You can also access the park via RTA Buses 9 and 88 and a complimentary shuttle buses from key hotels to is La Mer also provided.
