The Fridge Concert Series season 30 features four weekly performances by top local and regional musicians. The series kicks off on September 30 with Armenian saxophonist Artur Grigoryan, whose influences include be-bop, funk and reggae. His debut album, Good In Tension, will be showcased. On October 7, enjoy Latin Night with Yasiel Diaz and friends as the Cuban pianist brings an energetic mix of reggae, salsa, samba, rumba and bolero with a hint of rock to the stage. On October 14, Jindi launches his EP, 1995, a mix of 1990s R&B, soul, pop and funk, backed by local musicians and dancers as well as an opening set by DJ Nader and support by Elijah Semine. The series wraps on October 21 with a performance by Parekh and Singh (pictured), an indie pop duo from Kolkata who make music from whimsical and magical beauty and unlock the secrets of the universe with their second LP, Science City.
