Eid Al Fitr in the UAE: 20 easy-to-buy-online dresses, jumpsuits and accessories by regional designers

A round up of looks for all sorts of stay-home celebrations, from simple daytime to full evening glamour

This Eid Al Fitr we will be staying home, but that does not mean we have to forgo dressing up for the celebration with family, or with friends over Zoom.

Whether you plan to make this Eid a low-key event, or want to feel truly glam, we've rounded up some of the best looks and accessories from top regional designers.

All of these can be bought online and most will be delivered in time for the celebrations considering they're from companies predominantly based in the UAE (just confirm ahead of time that that is the case).

Scroll through the gallery above for 20 looks, and find more details on the pieces below...

All Things Mochi brings its trademark sunny patterning to a sharp square necked, big shouldered dress (above) that is perfect for going day to night: just belt it and add earrings for a fresh evening look.

Simpler looks also come courtesy of Twisted Roots, with a pretty candy-striped tiered dress, or Viola's lace trimmed dress, tie-dyed and interesting for evening, teamed with tights and over-the-knee boots.

Bambah delivers a beautiful belted kaftan in jacquard and feathers, as Amal Al Raisi takes the same shape and turns it into an elegant full-length gown.

SemSem offers some serious metallic sheen with its bottle green lamé dress that feels straight out of Studio 54, as does Rami Al Ali's halter neck look.

Both Madiyah Al Sharqi and Marina Qureshi opt for satin, that will ripple and dance with light all evening. Meanwhile Theia's full-length beaded look is seriously sophisticated.

If it is accessories that you are looking for, why not try Madiso and its collection of utterly delightful brooches, all made with intricate crystals echoing pears, butterflies and tiny creatures.

If money is no object, then look to the Islamic-design-inspired patterned clutches by NS by Noof (above).

This Bahraini brand has a well earned reputation for its exquisite bags that, although expensive, might well prove to be a classic of the future.
