From Etisalat, too much data but not enough information
My Etisalat bill for June had a charge of Dh414.68 under the "Others" section. When I checked with Etisalat, they said I had exceeded the monthly data limit. I had subscribed to a BlackBerry Limited package in June of this year, but I never received a notification that I had exceeded the data limit and that additional charges would be applied. I am aware that Etisalat informs a customer if they are close to exceeding their monthly data limit, so I believe I have been wrongly charged. BSM, Dubai
I contacted Etisalat on behalf of the reader and action was taken promptly. BSM received a telephone call from Etisalat acknowledging the error and they have credited Dh432.57 to his account. Should he wish to do so, BSM can alter the settings for his phone package and he has options to disconnect the data service once he reaches a specified limit.
