Here's your first look at 'Big Little Lies' season two
HBO has also revealed when the latest instalment of the hit TV series will be returning to screens
It was one of 2017's biggest hits, scooping up multiple Golden Globes, Emmys and Critics' Choice Awards - and viewers won't have to wait much longer for the next season of Big Little Lies.
The American drama, which is co-produced by actresses Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon, has revealed four new stills from series two, offering fans a first glimpse at new cast member, Meryl Streep.
The Oscar-winning actress is joining the series, alongside returning stars such as Kidman, Witherspoon, Laura Dern, Zoe Kravitz and Shailene Woodley.
The new season of the drama, which is based on author Liane Moriarty's book of the same name, will return to screens in June, broadcaster HBO added.
Big Little Lies is set in the Californian city of Monterey, with the first season focused around a group of women who become embroiled in a murder investigation. For series two - which consists of seven episodes - Streep will be playing Mary Louise Wright, the mother-in-law of Kidman's character, Celeste Wright, as the central characters move on from the aftermath of the previous season's plot-twisting finale.
The Devil Wears Prada star revealed she decided to join the show because she "loved it", as she appeared at a panel for the show at the Television Critics Association on Friday.
"I was addicted to it," said Streep. "I thought it was an amazing exercise in what we know and what we don't know about people, about family, friends, [and] how it flirted with the mystery of things."
During the panel, Kidman revealed there are currently no plans for a third season of Big Little Lies.
"This was a long shoot for us and an enormous amount of work," said the Moulin Rouge star.
"I will say not to compare it to the first one because artistically it's a wonderful thing and it is its own entity. It was made with an enormous amount of love."
