Olivia Colman, Rami Malek, Regina King and Mahershala Ali have all been confirmed to present at the 92nd Academy Awards on Sunday, February 9.
Traditionally, the big winners from the year before present the following year, and 2020 will be no different.
In 2019, Colman landed the Best Actress award for her role in The Favourite; Malek won Best Actor for his portrayal of Freddie Mercury in musical biopic Bohemian Rhapsody; King was named Best Supporting Actress for her role in If Beale Street Could Talk and Ali won the Best Supporting Actor statuette for Green Book.
Once again, Oscars organisers have opted to eschew a host for a series of A-list presenters.
"Let me confirm it now. Together with the Academy [of Motion Pictures], we have decided there will be no traditional host again this year," said Karey Burke, president of ABC Entertainment, on Wednesday, January 8.
She said organisers planned on "repeating what worked for us last year – huge entertainment value, big musical numbers, big comedy".
"A lot of incredible elements have already come together and convinced us that we are going to have an incredibly entertaining show again."
The last host of the Academy Awards was Jimmy Kimmel, in 2018.
