Hot and hazy conditions will persist across the country on Tuesday with humidity levels reaching 85 per cents across the coast, according to the National Centre for Meteorology.

Light to moderate winds, reaching 40kph at times, will cause dusty patches over some exposed areas.

Humidity will increase at night and during the morning over the coastal and interior regions along with fog and mist.

Temperatures will range from 25°C to 48°C in the interior regions, 27°C to 47°C along the coast and 25°C to 38°C in the mountains.

The maximum humidity will be between 55 to 85 per cent across coastal, 50 to 80 per cent over internal areas, and between 30 to 60 per cent in the mountains.

The sea will continue to be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
