Fog and mist caused poor visibility in parts of the country overnight and in the very early hours of Sunday morning, according to the National Centre for Meteorology.
From 1.30am to 9am, visibility was reduced in some internal areas, mainly westwards, to 1,000 metres, including in Sweihan, Madinat Zayed, Qsyoura and Al Dhafra.
The centre advised residents to be on the look out for those undertaking any outdoor activities.
The weather is expected to be partly cloudy in general and hazy at times.

Clouds will increase over some eastern and southern areas, with a possibility of light rain.
Light to moderate northwesterly winds, especially over the sea, may reach speeds of up to 38km/hour over the mountains with temperatures set to drop to 6°C in the mountains and peak at 26°C internally.
Humidity will increase at night and in the early morning over some internal areas reaching highs of 95 per cent internally and in the mountains.
The sea will be moderate, although rough at times in the Arabian Gulf, and slight to moderate in Oman Sea.
