Scorching temperatures will continue today with highs reaching 49 C in the interior and 47 C along the coast. The mountain region will remain a few degrees cooler, with highs reaching 39 C.
Clouds will increase over some parts of the eastern areas of the country, with the possibility of convective clouds developing this afternoon.

Humidity will reach a stifling high of between 60 and 90 percent along the coast. It will be slightly lower in the internal and mountain regions.
Light to moderate winds – ranging from about 15 to 30 km/h – may cause blowing sand and dust over open areas. The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea.
