Reckless drivers who cause a deliberate disturbance in Sharjah risk having their cars confiscated by the police on the orders of Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed, the emirate's Ruler.
Sheikh Sultan made the announcement yesterday during an appearance on the live show, Al Khat Al Mubasher, on Sharjah TV.
He said the confiscated vehicles would not be returned under any circumstances and that police officers who did not follow the directive would be "held accountable".
