DUBAI // The Ministry of Health and Prevention is sending mobile clinics across the country to offer free breast cancer screening for all women starting on Sunday.

The campaign will begin in Dubai’s Festival City on Sunday and Monday.

The second stop will be at Mall of the Emirates on May 24 and 25.

Then it will travel to Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah until June 15.

The mobile clinics equipped with mammograms will be at shopping centres in the Northern Emirates.

The campaign aims to raise public awareness about breast cancer, educate about the importance of its early detection, provide guidance, identify preventive measures and risks, and highlight diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation.

The campaign falls under the Year of Giving mandate announced by the President, Sheikh Khalifa, and the directives of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai.
