ABU DHABI // The 10th annual Abu Dhabi Walk to mark World Diabetes Day will take place on November 11 at Yas Marina Circuit, Yas Island.
This year’s 5K walk, which is expected to be bigger than previous years, will include a number of activities, events, competitions, celebrity participants and entertainers, all of which will be announced in coming weeks.
Each year for World Diabetes Day, which takes place on November 14, Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, which deals with diabetes treatment, research, training and public health awareness, hosts the walk for thousands of people.
Tickets are now available. Gates open at 2pm and the Walk begins at 5pm. Tickets are Dh10 and it is free for those under 16.
