Temperatures in Dubai and Abu Dhabi will reach the mid-40s on Tuesday, while parts of the interior top out at 46°C.
In Dubai, the forecast is for 44°C with some clouds, while Abu Dhabi should reach 45°C.
Along the coast and on islands the maximum is likely to be about 43°C and the mountains are expected to hit 36°C.
Humidity along the coast is forecast to reach 80 per cent while the interior could be at 60 per cent.
The National Centre of Meteorology said Tuesday would be fair with some clouds forming on the east by afternoon. The weather will be hazy at times while light to moderate winds will bring respite from mercury.
Conditions will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.
