Students who survived the Parkland school shootings in Florida last month have told a Dubai education summit of their struggle to comprehend what happened that day.
"It was scary. There were people crying. We didn't know where the shooter was. We didn't know if he was coming to our classroom next," said Kevin Trejos.
Suzanna Barna told the audience of her struggle to understand what happened.
"The hardest thing was returning to school and seeing the empty desks of the victims," the pupil said.
Delegates at the forum gave the three a standing ovation at the venue.
