Abu Dhabi University dedicated Dh16,604,146 to scholarships and financial aid during the 2014- 2015 academic year, benefiting 2,422 students.
This brings the total amount that the university has spent on scholarships and financial aid since its inception in 2003 to Dh102,761,395, which helped about 6,132 students.
“The allocation of these funds on a yearly basis to nurture academically and financially deserving students has become an integral part of Abu Dhabi University’s mission and strategy,” said Ali Saeed Bin Harmal Al Dhaheri, chairman of ADU’s executive Board. “As a national higher education institution, ADU is committed to building a foundation of specialized qualified graduates, who can excel at jobs created by the United Arab Emirates’ transformation into a knowledge-based economy, and meet the needs of the policy agenda of Abu Dhabi’s Government and its Economic vision 2030.”
