One construction worker has died and another was injured after the wall of a school in Umm Al Quwain collapsed on them.
“The incident took place on Saturday morning when the two labourers were on duty. A wall of a school that was under-construction in Umm Al Quwain collapsed on them, causing the death of one labourer and injuring another,” said Maj Obaid Ali fadel, head of the city police station at UAQ Police.
“Seven labourers were demolishing a wall when it fell on them. Five labourers managed to escape,” said Maj Fadel.
The injured worker is being treated of serious fractures at hospital in UAQ.
