Abu Dhabi has had more than 2.5 million visitors at Al Bateen Beach, Ladies Beach and the Abu Dhabi Corniche beaches since the beginning of 2017, the Abu Dhabi Municipality has said.
The municipality's announcement of 2,577,998 visitors at government public beaches follows the announcement about the closure of Blue Walk and Lagoon Beach on the west end of the Corniche for upgrades. It will reopen by late March 2018.
Boards with information about beach safety have been added with the Municipality’s contact number (933) clearly displayed.
