MANAMA // Welshman Matthew Stevens will meet the Australian Neil Robertson in today's final of the Inaugural Bahrain Championship at the International Centre. Stevens became the first player to book his place yesterday in the final when he beat the seven-time world champion Stephen Hendry 6-4. Stevens, whose last final was in the world championship of 2005, was helped somewhat by the unusually poor play of Hendry. The Scot had been the man in form this week but never looked like upsetting the Welshman in a series of scrappy frames. Robertson was also a 6-4 winner over mark Allen of Northern Ireland. There was never more than two frames between the players throughout the match but it was the Australian who eventually clinched it with breaks of 45 and 33 in the 10th and final frame.
