The Miami Heat's home winning streak in the NBA ended at 17 games as they went down 97-82 to the Memphis Grizzlies.

Rudy Gay had 17 points and Zach Randolph 14 and 14 rebounds to lead seven Grizzlies scoring in double figures.

LeBron James had 21 points, six assists and six rebounds for Miami, who never led in the game.

Dallas native LaMarcus Aldridge hit a jump-shot on the buzzer in overtime as the Portland Trail Blazers edged the Mavericks 99-97.

Jamal Crawford added 14 for the Blazers, who boosted their play-off hopes with a fourth win in six games.

The San Antonio Spurs moved to the top of the Western Conference with a 128-103 win over the New Orleans Hornets.

Tim Duncan had 19 points and Manu Ginobili and Patty Mills 14 each.

Houston boosted their play-off hopes by beating the Los Angeles Lakers 112-107 as Goran Dragic poured in 26 points and handed out 11 assists, and Luis Scola added 25 points.

Kobe Bryant led the Lakers with 28 points while Metta World Peace added 23.

The Indiana Pacers recorded a fourth straight win as a late eruption from Danny Granger led them to a 103-98 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Deron Williams shrugged off the flu to collected 19 points and 13 assists in a 110-98 New Jersey Nets victory over the Washington Wizards, keeping the Nets' slim play-off hopes alive.

The Cleveland Cavaliers ended their losing streak at nine as Antawn Jamison scored 25 points - 16 of them in the fourth quarter - to top the Toronto Raptors 84-80.

Al Jefferson had 30 points and Devin Harris was just behind with 28 as the Utah Jazz beat the Golden State Warriors 104-98, while 30 points from Arron Afflalo led the Denver Nuggets to a 105-99 victory over the Phoenix Suns.

Twenty-four points and 11 assists from Jeff Teague helped the Atlanta Hawks to a 101-96 win over the Detroit Pistons, while the Milwaukee Bucks claimed a 95-90 triumph over the Charlotte Bobcats behind 25 points and nine dishes from Monta Ellis.
