We all know how good Mohamed Salah is after two prolific years with Liverpool, but how highly does he rate himself?

An insight was given into players' perception of their own ability when Virgil van Dijk played Santa Claus at the Liverpool training ground.

The Dutch defender was delivering personalised copies of the new Fifa 20 video game to his teammates.

A video recorded by the club shows the players' reactions as they open their boxes to and see their overall ratings - and some take it well, while others are less than impressed.

Salah receives his box while lying on the treatment table and enjoying a coffee.

"Look at that, 90 ... not bad," says Salah.

"Same as me, I'm 90 as well, but you've got a little bit better pace," says Van Dijk before adding "it should be the same at least".

Salah responds by saying his physicality should be higher before Van Dijk asks him he's happy overall with the numbers and Salah reiterates it's "not bad".

Indeed, the Egyptian is the fifth highest rated player on the game behind Eden Hazard, Neymar, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

Those who were less than impressed with some of their attributes captured in the game include Joel Matip and Jordan Henderson, both of whom didn't like their lack of pace, though they took it in good spirits.

Goalkeeper Adrian also would have liked a higher rating than 76. "You can tell them to put me some more," he tells Van Dijk.

Liverpool travel to Sheffield United in the Premier League on Saturday having won all six league fixtures so far this season.
