Ways of Seeing is a group exhibition based on John Berger’s 1972 series and book of the same name, which shifted the emphasis of art criticism from professional art experts to the layperson. Similarly, the exhibition invites the viewer to engage with the artwork and explore how artists assign new meanings to familiar concepts.

Noon to 8pm, Mondays to Saturdays, NYU Abu Dhabi Art Gallery, Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi, www.nyu-artgallery.org
