In Once Upon a Time in Venice, Bruce Willis stars as Steve Ford, a private detective in Venice Beach, California, whose dog Buddy is his world. When thugs steal Buddy, Steve is forced to do some jobs by their leader, Spyder (Jason Momoa), to make sure he can get Buddy back. Register to attend tonight’s screening of the 2015 documentary Meru at Cinema Space. The film, co-directed by husband and wife Jimmy Chin and Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi, chronicles the first ascent of the Shark’s Fin route on the 21,000-feet Himalayan mountain Meru that is called the “anti-Everest”, with a team, including Chin, confronting the elements and personal limitations to achieve the impossible.
