Swiss Art Gate UAE presents Equus & Folium by Venezuelan artist Bernardo Nieves and Italian artist Daniela Carletti. The exhibition features Nieves’ large-scale horses, spectacular floating animals that represent elegance and manhood, and Carletti’s digital paintings of leaves, which feature a magical innocence and delicate impressions of animals and insects in the cycle of life. Warehouse421 presents a perfume-making workshop led by artist Mona Haddad as part of the Summer Camp programme. Teenagers and their families will enjoy this living art of the Emirates and will learn about how various forms of perfumes are created in the region, based on old family recipes.

The film 6 Days is set in April 1980, when armed gunmen stormed the Iranian Embassy in London, taking 26 hostages. The film is set after the Iraq-Iran war in 1988, when a blind mother welcomes her estranged daughters home to tell them a secret, but dies in the process. During her funeral, the sisters attempt to figure out her secret, looking for clues from visitors. Then a peculiar encounter makes them question everything about their mother’s life.
