They tied the knot last month in a lavish, multi-day affair in India, before jetting off on not one, but two honeymoons – and it seems Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are not quite finished feting their union just yet.

The Quantico actress and the musician hosted another wedding reception in the groom's native United States this week, with the couple joined by their families and friends for the occasion.

Chopra, 36, and Jonas, 26, marked their nuptials at Nellie's Southern Kitchen, the Jonas family's restaurant in North Carolina, on Sunday evening.

For the reception – the first the pair are believed to have celebrated in the US – Jamshedpur-born Chopra sported a strapless, midi-cut ballgown, finished with a scattering of glittering embellishments. Jealous singer Jonas dressed down in a khaki shirt and black trousers, with the newlyweds entering the venue to the a rendition of Joe Cocker's You Are So Beautiful.

The couple were joined by Jonas's parents Kevin and Denise Jonas, who wore traditional Indian outfits for the night, as did Chopra's mother, Madhu Chopra.

Jonas's brothers, Kevin and Joe, were also in attendance, with the latter treating guests to a performance of Cake by the Ocean, his hit song with band DNCE.

Chopra later thanked her new in-laws for organising the bash, sharing a picture from the evening with her 35 million Instagram followers.

"Fam jam. Thank you @nelliessouthernkitchen @mamadjonas @papakjonas for a wonderful reception! We love you! This was amazing," the star captioned the shot.

Chopra and Jonas first wed at the Umaid Bhavan Palace in Jodhpur on December 2, before holding a grand reception in Delhi.

This was followed by two receptions held in Mumbai, with the couple also jetting off for a mini-moon in Oman before escaping to the Caribbean to celebrate becoming man and wife.

The couple, who got engaged last July after a whirlwind romance, have previously spoken about the importance of family, drawing inspiration from their own during their relationship.

"His parents and my parents have had incredible marriages," Chopra told Vogue India last month. "They've had their mountains and valleys but have been very supportive to each other. I think that's what we look up to."
