Mind-blowing UAE supercar the Devel Sixteen has caught the attention of one of the world’s biggest music stars: Snoop Dogg.
You may have missed this momentous event if you were away on your festive holidays, but the 46-year-old rap legend posted a picture of the car, which was showcased at November’s Dubai International Motor Show, with the (slightly full stop heavy) caption: “My. Xmas gift. To me.” That’s autocorrect for you.
The company replied: “Snoop Dogg – We are honoured that you like Devel Sixteen, thanks for giving this privilege to us.”
The original picture had been shared by Devel on social media last month. More than 1.1 million people have liked Snoop Dogg's post, with more than 22,000 comments, including from fellow celebrities Jamie Foxx and Jeremih, the latter of whom enquired if anybody knew the name of the car.
The multi-million-dirham, jet-fighter inspired vehicle has a 12.3-litre, quad-turbo V16 engine that pushes out a claimed power figure of 5,000hp. Can we be the first to coin the term “Snoopercar"?
